Yelena Kunkel, born and raised in the Republic of Georgia, is an artist based in Pennsylvania. She explores vibrant florals in watercolors and loves creating cyanotypes, which involves a photographic printing process developed in 1842 that uses light to capture cyan-blue images, or sun-prints. Every watercolor and each cyanotype print is a one-of-a-kind collaboration that celebrates the quiet beauty of nature and its seasons.

You can find Yelena’s work at the Bottlebrush Gallery in Harmony, Pennsylvania. She has won prizes in several local competitions, and her art has been featured in publications such as Glo Magazine. She also teaches art classes at her local library.
